Ah…the Holidays! All the Joy, the decorations, the gifts and the gatherings…and with it, all the food in the office, the food at the parties, the food gifts, the food that just piles up in front of you and then…it piles “on you” as excess weight that starts to creep in. You cannot seem to control it! You cannot say no…After all. it happens only once a year. You don’t want to be boring or rude…Food is celebration, isn’t it?
Let’s face it, after each party, each office break-room indulgence, after all the sweets, the drinks, etc. you are not so merry. The truth is that you feel guilty, and now you can’t rock that awesome party dress or outfit you’d like to wear to the big party. It sucks, I know. But why did this happen ?You were doing so good. Why? !
Here are some good reasons
- Peer pressure: everyone is doing it, I don’t want to be “that person”
- Stress: With all the holiday plans, shopping & business you forget to cook, plan meals and exercise
- Emotions: The holidays are sometimes sad, you feel lonely or you miss your loved ones. Eating eases the pain
- Habit: Everyone knows what you like to eat and they give you food gifts. You also do the same every year, eat the same foods and buy the same treats. In your mind it is tradition
- Poor self esteem: Self talks like “What is the point anyways?” “I’m already overweight, or not in the best of shapes”. “I can relax and start a diet in January” “Who cares?”
- Metabolism & poor nutrition: You’ve tried all year to lose weight with no success. It is so hard to drop a few inches! And you are always hungry. Plus, you are so used to dieting or eating whatever / whenever that you have no idea anymore what is good or bad for you

I totally get it. Holidays can be tricky and food seems to be charged with so many memories. The food mom made, the food commercials everywhere and the promise of being merry by eating seems real. That’s why I have created a plan that is fool proof.
